"Hatchet III" (2013) is the film about horror that continues to tell the tale of Victor Crowley, the evil ghost. BJ McDonnell was the director, which is the third and last installment in Hatchet's film series. Kane Hodder, Zach Galligan as well as Danielle Harris star in this film.

The movie follows Crowley the local hunters and the survivors of previous films as they are pursued by Crowley. The backstory of Crowley and how he became a vengeful ghost are also explored in the film.

The film's cast and crew did an excellent job in bringing these characters to life. Kane Hodder, who played Crowley, brought an intense performance to the role. The effects that were employed by Crowley in bringing the ghost's spectre to life were very impressive and added to the film's horror aspect.

One of the highlights of the film was its use of real-world special effects. They were done well and enhanced the terror aspect. The film's pace was well done, which kept (blog) the audience on the edge.

The movie's negatives include the fact that it repeats the same plot as the previous films of the series. The plot felt confusing at times, making it hard to follow.

Overall, I enjoyed "Hatchet III" although it was very similar to the other entries in Hatchet's film series. While the film had strong special effects and pacing however, it wasn't quite as engaging in terms of plot, or familiarity of the story. If you're a fan of the series and love slasher movies This film is worth watching.
